HP Laserjet M4345 output blurry
possible causes
1.) paper (more common problem than you might think, I bring my own paper when image problem is involved)
2.) Fuser related problem. Rule out the fuser by performing an engine test. (Recommend removing formatter first)
3.) Blow out entire paper path with compressed air, especially laser scanner area.
4.) Transfer Roller
5.) Laser scanner
6.) FormatterLife should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!". -
Re: HP Laserjet M4345 output blurry
I just came across this today. Poorly lubricated fixing film was dragging down the motor speed. All I did was clean and re-lubricate the heater surface. Only 20K on the refurbished fuser. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: HP Laserjet M4345 output blurry
I'll go along with prntrfxr and blackcat and say change the fuser. Weird as it sounds, I've seen more than a few refurbished fusers cause fuzzy prints. The chance that higher life forms might have emerged in this way is comparable to the chance that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein. -Fred HoyleComment
