Up 700. Red print is light and off color

I have an HP 700 that when you print a color copy the red is light and not the right shade. I went into device management and did the calibrating cleaning in the full calibrating and it made no difference. The rest of the color look fine. The magenta cartridge still has over half its life left but would you look at replacing that. Thanks

Like Phil said. Are Genuine toners being used?

We had a new magenta unit but it isn't oem. It made the red a little darker(still not right shade) but is also leaving dash marks on transfer belt. Is all this from not being a oem drum.

I clue you into HP laser based units.

THEY DON'T PLAY WELL WITH GENERIC TONERS.

EITHER GET YOUR CUSTOMER TO SWITCH TO GENUINE OEM OR drop them like a hot rock.

            OK!

            • Clean the ID Sensors
            • Let the machine power-up and run the calibration again
            • Update the FW (remember to print config and demo pages) then compare on completion

            All the best!
