    e60155dn print quality issue

All of these out of the box has shadow on the side edge. One particular machine continues to develop dots with all the cartridge we send the customer.

    what's wrong with these things?

    ALSO

HP manuals seem to be written with the mind set that their machine is so perfect, its everyone else's fault. Either that, or their new stuff is sooo fragile that they cant print on imperfect paper. bullocks.

    /end rant

    Anyone has experience with these?

if the original toner could be the fuser. You can attach a photo of the press here.

I know what the bad fuser produces. Don't get me started on those. Think I changed 2 fuser for machines under 10k prints, you guess it, HP units

*woa 2! Big deal! Well, I only have a handful of them, 2 is quite a fair sample size not to mention they were new out of the box.

customer gave additional clue few days ago, saying "quiet mode" had something to do with this.

initially the machine was louder then their legacy laserjet, this mode was turned on.

now that its turned off, i havent heard from them.

            Bump*.

If you have the same series of printer, avoid using "any type" as paper typr on machine side.

It result in poor fusing on heavier density prints, even on plain paper. And this doesnt take the paper setting from print driver.

Usually, single user envrionment dont have these kind if problems. You would set accordingly

But, in a fast face environment with multiple users, printing letterheads, thickstock, envelope, labels, the tendency to leave one side on passive mode(any type. Or unspecified) and let the driver call shots.in this case, it wasnt working that way.

The current work around have the roles reversed. Leave the driver on passive(unspecified media type)and then set the exact media type on machine side.

            It worked.
