Hello guys and girls,
Being that HP is not my forte, I am in need of knowledge. I have an HP LaserJet Enterprise M653 on my bench, and am probably going to need parts, however, at this point, I have been unable to find a part description, a a parts manual, or a repair manual for this printer.
The End User attempted to install an imaging unit, (toner cartridge), and found out only after the attempt, she was sent the wrong imaging unit, and it would go into the machine only 4 to 5 inches, appearing to be blocked by something inside, or on the "rail" it slides on, on it's way into the machine. I ordered the correct unit for the printer, and found it won't go in either.
My question is, does this sound repairable, or does it sound as though parts are going to be needed? Where can I find a repair manual, and a parts manual?
I have attached a photo of the "rail." The red arrow indicates two small plastic pieces that slide from front to back, and when pushed to the left, they raise a plastic piece, indicated by the yellow arrow, that seems to, possibly line up a groove, so the imaging unit can slide all the way in.
Any suggestions, advice, and/or comments are welcomed!
