HP Laserjet 2055d leaves two black marks on the Back of the printed paper

    Hi
Hp laserjet 2055d leaves two black marks on the back of the printed paper. The marks repeat in duplex printing (picture) but the distance between the marks are different .It seems as if the marks create by feed roller & duplex re-pickup roller. I checked them and they all are cleaned!
some idea says the tray2 pickup roller and separation pad makes this problem but in duplex printing it has no role in feeding the paper!
Another idea says "Registration unit " is the issue and because of its paper feeding delay ,the roller leaves that marks on the paper.

Any idea about this issue and the solution would be appreciated.
    Thanks

can't see much in your post.. try uploading the sample via PDF format.

do you know that page 2 of a duplex job feeds in first?

have you completely cleaned the paper path?

have you done a stop test?

what does the fuser look like?

this problem is really Copiers 101.

Yeah i know, but it's not about what prints first in duplex printing, i meant when paper returns through duplex it doesn't feed by pickup roller so it could not be the issue.
      I did stop test.
      fuser is ok.

i didn't mention a damn thing about pickup rollers.

you did stop test.. what were the results.

how do you KNOW the fuser is ok?

did you ever think it could be due to the DUPLEX SECTION?

        is the paper path clean?

        i'm done.

+1 on the fuser. If your media is too heavy, the media type set incorrectly, or the fuser worn, the first image will be rubbing off on the conveyance rollers.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I Just replaced fuser film and serviced whole fusing unit.
It's not about paper path or duplex..
stop test shows that marks creates when paper reaches Registration roller.
            Thanks anyway

Re: HP Laserjet 2055d leaves two black marks on the Back of the printed paper

Dear OP: Did you ever solve this problem? I have the same issue: When using a P2055dn printer and printing on one side, I get a great print page on the printed side, but I get 2 black marks on the back of the page.
If I print duplex, I get unwanted marks on both sides.

Do you know how to fix this?

I tried the printer's cleaning function, tried cleaning the rollers I could see, tried reading the manual, tried printing 20 duplex pages to see if the marks get duller with use, none of this helped.

I tried the stop test and the marks did not appear on the back page, but I don't know what this means.

              Thanks.
