DJ T2600 Error Code 0065-0003-0074

I have this DJ T2600 that is giving the error code of 0065-0003-0074, and the manual and HP tech support says to replace the paper feed motor. I replaced it and got it working, however the customer hasnt used it since i repaired it and they said that the error code came back. Any ideas?

Motors rarely go bad. This error talks about the NVM on the media encoder sensor. I would replace the encoder sensor. Do not attempt to use a used one; it stores the identity of the printer and installing a used one from another printer may render the printer inoperable.
