    MFP E72525

I never resolved the issue that was originally posted by me 12-23 (see below). My customer has been ok scanning to jump drive but now getting more docs to scan and would like to scan to a folder. Can I connect with USB cable and scan to computer, even if it's pull scanning?

MFP E72525 is connected and printing fine but can't access the admin mode in web interface page to setup scanning. It will not accept any of the usual defaults. Cleared password in Pre-boot mode and still can't get into admin mode. Also tried using the HP driver package to setup scanning with no success. This is an off lease "managed" printer if that makes a difference with security, etc? I had a tech friend with a lot of HP experience look at it and he said it's really strange he can't get into admin mode on web page while sitting at a work station.
Does scanning have to be setup in admin mode?
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

All good for now. Just wanted to update and maybe help someone else with similar questions..... Since I wasn't able to get into admin mode to setup scanning I ended using USB cable for scanning and network cable for printing. Customer using HP Smart Scan to "pull" docs via USB. Would eventually like to setup SMB folder on network with "push" scans. So found out you can use both USB & Net at same time.

You can scan to network folder/usb, but you have to change the security settings to allow for it.
