[Misc] HP PageWide P777x0 not waking from hibernation

Hi,

We have a few of these devices in the field, and a fair bit of them requires a powercycle in the mornings to wake up from hibernation.
Different firmware versions have been tried, the sleep timeout has been set to 2hrs, the wake-up feature has been enabled for every morning, and different power sockets has been tried - all to no avail.

When contacting HP they tell us to change either the formatter or the display, this has also been tried - also to no avail.

Has any of you experienced this, and if yes, found a way around it?

Uncheck the sleep mode so it doesn't engage

Good call, but unfortunately that isn't an option (as far as I see it);

Unless of course there's an option somewhere on the P777x0 series that I don't know of (Which is highly likely )

log into EWS, settings> energy save settings> optimum speed/energy usage> change save energy to faster first page

this prevents deep sleep from preventing wake up on network
