Define "slow".
Users Guide specifies 26 ppm A4.
How many seconds before the printer awakens?
After printing starts, how many pages per minute?
Are you using an WSD port on the print driver?

A common cause for this is setting the media type to heavy media. It slows down the machine speed and increases warmup time. And a machine reset reverts media type back to Plain paper.If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
