HP M609 giving tray overfill or roller issue error. The tray will not lift. The machine has two trays. The bottom tray works ok. I did check the alignment of the seperation and pickup roller. Everything looks ok. The tray is only half full so I know its not overfilled. The sensor arms on the side of tray are not broken. The sensor arms appear to be making contact with the sensors. Could the lift motor be bad? I can pull the tray 2 out, and machine says tray open. So it seems the machine is recognizing the tray. Any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure the blue clip in the attached picture holding the roller assembly in place hasn't unclipped itself. I've seen this numerous times.
