Hi Guys

Tried new toner, still no black print. Shutter is open on black laser unit. No toner on dev roller. Any further ideas would be appreciated. I will start to have a go after Xmas hopefully can locate a fault somewhere

Did they pull the seal tab between toner/dev?

There's a contact on the upper cartridge guide, is that bent or out of place?

Hi Guys

I recently ran into an issue where the laser shutter in the cartridge cavity was broken & covering the laser. Might be worth a look.

Are you 100% sure that cartridge is not defected? Maybe just a seal is not pulled, do you see toner on DEV roller?

Thanks for that. Customer states that they tried a new toner which l believed (but who knows!!!). I think l will get a replacement in before l start looking further. I will also check the toner on dev roller as well

Hi Guys

Got an HP CM4540 will not print black. Not drum unit. All colours print fine so suspect no voltage charge to black drum as if machine stopped part way through no toner on black drum but there is on the colours. Any help appreciated
