    [Misc] printer cartridges

what to do with all my old compatible image cartridges. Most are hp varying models. Was hoping someone would buy them; looks doubtful unless somebody knows something I don't. Considering to keep a few and start refilling them myself yet don't know if it's worth it. Any help appreciated.
    Thanks!!!

HP will send you free mailers for sending them back to be recycled.

mine are compatible toners for use in hp printers. Not OEM. This is my question is there any place out there that takes them. All the places I've seen talk about protecting the environment as long as your toners are OEM ??? So we pollute the environment with everything else???

I doubt they care who made it. It's still recyclable.

Also stores like Office Depot take recyclable cartridges, etc.

If they are non oem, then yes, you need to scrap them as no one will pay for them. If they are OEM, you can sell them. They are cheap. For example, 35A is 050 usd and 81X is 3-4 usd. That is market price today.
