HP Laserjet Pro M404 Lever stuck

    Hi Folks
I have a customer in Cairns who has 4 HP Laserjet Pro M404DN printers and we supply non genuine CF276X toners for them. For some reason the last batch we sent to them 2 of the printers accept the non genuine toners perfectly, the other 2 of the exact same printers have a small white lever on the RHS which seems to be jammed. No mater what the customer tries 2 of the machines will not allow him to fit the non genuine toner as this lever is stuck on both. It's weird as 2 fit fine, the other 2 won't. Does anyone first of all know what the lever does and secondly why on 2 of the machines they are stuck rigid? I have attached an image of the lever.

I have seen levers like this on Samsung printers to better lock the cartridges inside, in your case I think it is a factory update that your cartridges maybe in stock have not yet implemented in production such as for example for the chips.
