    HP M551dn How to Rebuild the ITB Transfer Belt

    I just found the film on ebay. Id like to know how to rebuild these. Im sure there is a cleaning blade involved too. Thanks!
    I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.

      You're wasting your time without a new blade!

      There's no manual for rebuilding them as far as I know. Take some pictures of the gear assembly layout around the blade before removing them. It comes apart pretty easily.

          That will not be easy. This is not HP belt and probably fit on M3525/M4025/551.. On the end, you can bay a role and make your belts. btw the quality of these is poor. HP offer only whole ITB.

          Try to dissemble one..

              These come apart easily enough, but getting them back together properly might be another matter. Certain rollers are spring loaded, and why waste time on it without the blade. It's more practical to order the whole unit.
