maybe someone has an older firmware for HP Pro M454 series (does not recognize black toner) to use compatible toners ?

Hi if you connect the machine and go to network and enable ftp and then send the firmware via command prompt

It should load or goto service menu and see if fw downgrade is an option.

HP M455 is only a printer, not MF, no ftp, at least I haven't found it.
. when I start the firmware exe.file does not allow to select the offered printer and it still does not work.

Hi sorry i meant Goto the embedded web server from the ip address of the machine then go to network and see if ftp it's an option to be ticked and then apply it.

Hi, I tried to connect via ftp, unfortunately it doesn't work. The printer does not support the ftp service.

Hi, do you have the older firmware that you can share? We have a 454 that is locked out from using non-oem toner.
