    For the grinding, I would definitely try cartridges before futzing with drives or motors. Fusers and t-belts aren't even worth the hassle and money, that's as far as I go.

    HP M477 Blank or no black on copies

    I have a M477 that after replacing the fuser for damaged fusing film, when we print the demo page it comes out with no black. Also as the printer printed, i heard the developer motor making a grinding noise. Im thinking thats the reason why the black is not coming out. After reseating the transfer belt, it started printing blank. What do you guys think the problem is and what is making the noise? Im thinking it could also be the toner cartrige but i didnt have any extra toner to try. TIA
