    HP Plotter usage and costings.

How would one know the running cost of a plotter, ink usage etc, are there any ways to work it out? How are customers charged for contract machines?

Our company billed supplies separately: supplies being paper, ink cartridges, printheads, & cutters. The contract covered labor and "parts" (all the things other than supplies). It was based on square feet per month, but I do not know that rate.

    Does that help? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        One last thing:
Specify in your contract: Genuine ink and printheads only! Anything else voids the contract.

Otherwise you may end up battling poor quality generic ink cartridges.
