Color Laserjet MFP M283 faded prints

Print quality on colors is very faded with magenta being almost gone on the supplies status page. Black isn't terrible on the supply readout but all other text on the page is very faint
The imaging units are all OEM. The transfer belt isn't due for replacement but looks great. Is there a common failing for these that I haven't stumbled across? I've been searching forums but haven't come up with anything yet.

Attached a sample for opinions. There is text above "Black Cartridge" that has the model name and then "Supplies Status" but it's light enough the scan didn't pick it up. Cyan doesn't look too bad and Yellow is probably half tone

Check if the slats located on the sides of the cartridge holder are out of place, or if the toner cartridge is defective or dirty laser unit.

Laser unit is clean, and the cartridges are new OEM from HP. Will check the slats for anything out of place.

Do the cartridges have strips to pull? Since the magenta is showing 100% I'm wondering if someone forgot to pull the strip.
