HP 4700 Odd marks on output

I recently changed the black cart on our main (home office) HP 4700. Immediately after the replacement all output has a inch wide ribbon of "stuff" on it (see image). I have changed out the cart to another new OEM one and nothing changed. I changed the image transfer unit and still no change. I changed out the other three toner carts and nothing changed! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you examine the fuser, do you see this mark on one of the rollers inside?

Thank you for the suggestion. I shall dismantle the unit over the weekend and hope that the fault will be found there. To be honest, I can't think of anywhere else it might be.

The fuser is right under the front covers.

Open the top cover and it's right there.

Make sure to turn the printer off before removing the fuser and be careful.....the fuser can be HOT.

I removed the fuser but couldn't see an easy way get access to the rollers. I would be willing to disassemble, but wonder if there is a clip, latch or similar that would expose the rollers?

The top of the fuser lifts up to remove jams when necessary. Lift the two green tabs to open the top.

Sadly, the marks remain. I'm puzzled as I've effectively replaced or cleaned every component that comes into contact with paper and still no joy removing it. Is there a roller that is not part of the consumable components that might be causing this?

If you've replaced all of the toner cartridges with OEM and replaced the transfer kit and are still getting that line, the only place it could be coming from is the fuser.

Can you post of picture of the fuser opened up?

You removed the fuser and opened the top?

Is the stripe in the exact same place from both cartridges ? You could have two bad carts. The pattern looks random and not repeating. I tend to think it might be electrical. Maybe a contact isn't seating right or a problem with both carts. You said they were oem but anything could be possible.

Can you see toner on the drum of the cartridge in that spot. Could simply be two faulty cartrdiges. We can't get HP 4700 OEM cartridges anymore in Australia - so the stock you have may be quite old.
