DJ T2600 plotter gives this error code and had a broken pulley shaft on the tensioner. I replaced the tensioner, put on new belt, encoder strip, carriage PCA and scan axis motor. Still having the same error code. I am able to access the diagnostics menu which shows "scan axis length error. I'm not able to get in the calibration menu. Does anyone have any input to this issue I am experiencing?

In general with any Designjet, if you have carriage travel/path issues, either something is not assembled correctly, you have a dirty/bad/wrong encoder strip, you replaced the carriage PCA which has the encoder sensor so it's probably not that. I think the next thing I would try is a new trailing cable, and if that doesn't do it, a new electronics module.
Maybe remove the cutter and see if the test changes at all.

I replaced the encoder strip. This plotter worked fine until shaft on tensioner broke. Repllaced the tensioner, belt, carrage motor and carrage PCA board. Still have same error. Your help is greatly appreciated. DonComment
