HP 3035, scan to folder issue

If you turn off the printer. It will scan to folder. After an hour it seems to lock up. If you delete the files from the folder, a few minutes they start reappearing like the scanner is resending?? I don't work on HPs but got this one. Thanks for any help!

What type of scanning are we talking about? SMB, FTP, TWAIN?

If it is true that the scanner is repeatedly resending the same docs, the scanner portion of the main board is acting up on the MFP. I don't think that this could be network related.

You may get lucky and be able to do some sort of an All-Clear or Cold-Start, or reset the NIC. That would be my first attempt. Since most HP products put everything on one board, you may come down to replacing the main board.

Sorry I can be more specific. I've worked on other types of scanners, and HP printers, but very few HP MFPs. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

it is smb scanning, One day I did disconnect the HP from the network for 30 minutes. It did not start resending the already scanned files until after I reconnected it. It is the HP resending all the previously sent files to the folder. I did find something in the HP to delete the files, that worked for about 2 weeks until the files had built up again. Strange but true... Thanks for the help!
