HPCLJ P2025dn Solid 4 color prints no image

    Hello all:
I have a new CP2025 printer that started out working fine. After a few prints it went to solid coverage with all 4 image units giving uncontrolled toner on the page.
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and what they found as the cause.
It appears to have lost charge on the drums but HV board has continuity through the contacts, 24vdc and 3.3vdc to it as it should.
The unit runs normally, even completes a calibration without an error. Just lays a bunch of toner on the page.
    All ideas will be appreciated.
    Thanks for your time!

    Did you replace cartridges?
Did you check HVPS contacts that touch drums?
    Did you try transfer belt?

    or

How about the color registration detector? (It may be called something else in the service manual. HP hasn't picked just one name for the part that does the same thing).

    Reason:

Color detector puts rectangular boxes on the transfer belt and then reads them with the sensor. It adjusts timing accordingly so that each color lines up on top of each other. Failure here results in blank horizontal strips in the middle of prints or blurred image. It also controls density. If it reads dark, it will continue to lighten print until it is blank. If it reads light, it will darken print until its 1 solid color.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
