never had this problem, but definitely an image related problem. A friend of mine had this and replacing the cartridge did the trick, so I would start with that. Additionally, try reseating the ITB unit or you may have a bad laser scanner.
Check the event log for a list of the recent errors.
41 errors are generally paper size errors but occasionally can be laser scanner issues when the printer is confused about size/type of paper.
The service manual suggests checking the laser system, media feed, media size/type settings, and seating of the ITB. Before you start throwing parts make sure that whatever is in the tray and the size guides matches whatever is in the settings. Oh and make sure the custom button on the tray is set to regular (sometimes that gets knocked and it confuses things). Try different trays to see if the problem goes away. Change cartridge, reseat ITB, and lastly try laser scanner (because thats going to cost you the most time and money to fix). Hope this helpsLife should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!". -
