    Colour Laser HP5550

    Hi,

    I got a HP 5550. I can ear the fans and motors but no display at all. I have test all boards in working mc and it's look perfect. Can someone help???

      Did you...
      Disconnect and remove all optional equipment, then power up machine?
      Remove and reseat firmware/memory?
      Remove and reseat the formatter board?
      Replace Display Panel?
      Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

          Think there could be something on one of the sensors causing this issue. I know with many of the other hp products there are concealed sensors that can get media stuck on/at them and cause a hidden jam. May want to pop your paper path apart.
