I have never worked on this machine, I don't have a manual for it, nor have I ever seen the error you're talking about. Are you really sure you want me to answer?
Does it go straight to the error when you power it up?
Does the carriage try to find home position?
Will it print a manual test page from the printer? If it only happens from the PC it could be software/driver related. Update to latest versions.
Do the motors turn at all?
General problems with inkjets
Ok...My experience with ink machines has taught me that the capper/pump area has as much to do with the printhead for ink delivery when printing. These should be cleaned.
Most inkjet type machines have one of two different methods for locating home position. You either have the old style with a sensor on one end and a flag on the carriage or you have an encoder strip and a sensor on the back of the carriage to detect the exact position of the carriage. These have to be cleaned, use a soft cloth and water only to clean these as needed.
Clean rollers and pads, blow out paper dust, clean paper path and remove any obstructions.
Motors can go bad, gears can break, carriage shaft can be too dry or too greasy. The main board can go bad and so can power supplies.
Hope this helps you. I know this isn't much of an answer, but you wanted one.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!". -
HP3310 errorcode 0xc19a0013
Cheers for getting back to me with your answer,i have totally stripped the machine so that i could check to see if there was a broke cog or something loose? Every thing seems to be fine.I Put it all back together without side panels and power supply board moved to the side. You can see that the pump is turning fine and when the printer head go's to the left hand side the drive cog turns the flaps on/off in top of the printheads.Any ideas?Comment

does the carriage just go to the left, stop and give you the error? If so make sure the encoder (assume its this as you've not said which type you have) strip is clean. The encoder has tiny lines on it so dont use alcohol to clean it or you'll remove the lines. The lines are read by the sensor on the back of the carriage to tell the printer where the carriage is at all times.
HP's website says this for the error code:
"Solution
Press the On button to turn the printer off.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
Remove all the ink cartridges.
Wait two minutes.
Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
Press the On button to turn the printer on.
Install the ink cartridges when prompted.
If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved.
If the 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel, service the printer."Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".Comment

So its a nice, very specific diagnostic. I say, get a manual for starters. I understand that there are members here that sell manuals. If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
