    Need the part number for the spring for the sep roller on HP4200 cassette

      I was looking for this one some time back and we were unable to find it. Probably your best bet would be to send a photo (attached in the tray so they know what you're asking about) to Partsmart and see if they have a vendor that makes it. We haven't gotten enough people to ask about it to make it worth our while yet and HP doesn't sell it. I've been taking them off of damaged trays. We have the paper stop, the separation roller, the torque limiter, the separation roller cover, and the torsion spring that goes on that. If it's not a type 1b or type 2 tray I wouldn't consider repairing it. The type 1a trays have been known to cause 60.x errors when 500+ sheets are put it the tray. The tray should have 3 ribs on the right side rail. If you ever get a part number or vendor for the separation tension spring, let me know.
