[Dead] HP T1100PS - Will Not Start ... Kinda

We have a DesignJet T1100PS that will freeze when starting up. When we unplug the usb and ethernet cables, the machine fires right up. Could this be the formatter or is it even deeper than the formatter?

First things first....do a firmware upgrade at HP.com, then see what it does.

Try to reseat the formatter. If that does not work then it is probably the formatter. Also try differant cables.
