    [Misc] CLJ3505 printing slow

I have a CLJ3505 that intermittently prints slow, maybe 3-4 ppm instead of 12. It does this with prints over the customer network, also when patched into my laptop and when generating internal prints (config etc). I am also having difficulty performing a cold reset. I will be trying a new formatter, but am not convinced that this is the problem.
    Any ideas?

You might try changing the image memory first. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Suggest you check the paper menu. Make sure the machine is not set for heavy paper > 130gr/mt2 ,better yet, put everything back to factory setting and try again.

Is it slow when you print from other PC's?

If the dpi settings in the printer driver are set high it will print slower, lower = faster. Check paper settings in driver as well. Remember software will always override hardware.

If it is slow from control panel, memory might be a likely cause. Also, upgrade firmware. There have been some weaknesses with the formatters on this machine.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
