[Error Code] Color LaserJet 5550 Networking Issues

Has anyone had a problem like this, My HP Color LaserJet 5550n has all of a sudden started having network issues, the Jet Direct Card will not work on any speed except 10 baseT Half Duplex, it was working fine for years. I replaced the Jet Direct Card and the printer still has the same issue.

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

Have you tried inserting the card in EIO2? I've seen bad EIO1 sockets before. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Aren't those NIC cards auto-speed & protocol detecting?

Wouldnt that mean that the problem is the actual network, not the card?
What speed & settings the NIC detects, is what it runs at, because that is what it thinks the network is. I'm more confident of that thought when it was mentioned the card was replaced and still detected the same speed.

      Maybe....????

One way to check is with a laptop & cross-over network cable. Once that is plugged in, windows will show a small box showing the detected speed & type. This will confirm if the NIC is working correctly. If that comes up as 100Mb network speed, then you have a network fault, cable or switch issue.

Another thing I thought of would be to perform a cold reset of the NIC. This would factory reset the NIC and possible help with resetting a weird configuration.
Make sure you print a config page first so you know the IP settings and all tray settings etc etc, because you'd loose all that info and have to re-enter it.
