    HP 5000 Intermittent Quality problems.

    Hi,
The machine will print out excellent copies but then all of a sudden it will print a very lite print. then it prints fine and then out of the blue a lite print again. I have switched cartridges ,it hasnt helped. Any ideas as to what my problem may be besides lack of experience on machine?
    THANKS ANDY

Did you try a new (OEM) toner cartridge? How many pages on the meter?

I'm with jsw. I have seen too many defective refills to trust any of them. Stick in an OEM first before spending money on parts. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
