HP Color Laserjet CM 1017 Wrong printing

    Hi everyone!
I've got a bad machine. It prints to a wrong area on paper, and just prints the 3/4 of the image.
    What could be wrong?
    Laser unit?
    Transfer belt?

    Thank you in advance!
    Best regatrds,
    Norbert

Before trying anything else, I would update the firmware.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

        It could be:

slipping transfer belt or wrong paper registration. Any print quality problem?
I ve got fever: My English isn`t good, so please please forgive me any mistakes.

It could also be wrong settings in either printer driver or control panel

Does it do this when you print the configuration page or from paper path test?

Yeah, I agree... try internal test prints first. Sounds like someone might have check landscape in the print driver which is an easy fix. Otherwise could be an incorrect paper size issue. Check your guides and what paper type tray is set for. Maybe someone did a RAM clear on this machine?
