[CQ] HP(CLJ)8550N Blank copies. No image on the transfer drum

what would be the most probable cause for blank copies on this machine? If I open the side door just when the paper begins to feed from the paper tray, the transfer drum is blank also. I did see that the corona wire was broken, and I thought that was the problem so I replaced it, but still to no avale. It didnt fix it.

    Check the toner.

    Clean the contact.

Check the fuser if it is working.

I agree with Good, check the toner. I had a CM6040f that was producing no black print and no error codes after a scheduled black imaging drum replacement. Turns out the new black imaging drum must have been stored someplace way too hot, and the toner had become rock hard and broke the augers that were supposed to mix it up. And it was the same for all three black drums at that location. They were not HP drums.
