every time you fax, it comes up with the message "Do you want to continue with these settings" Is there a way to get rid of this message and just have it fax? The customer is annoyed with it but I couldn't find any way to turn it off.

Perhaps there is no TTI information programmed? How hard could that be? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That's all programmed in there.. it's asking if you want to use the settings.. I'm guessing like the dpi and such.

Probably something in settings that can be switched on or off. Service manual says nothing about it, only this:

"For complete information about troubleshooting fax problems, see the HP LaserJet Analog Fax
        Accessory 300 Service Manual."
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

Kind of a late reply but I think you have to do this in the EWS. If you log in to the EWS and go to the "digital sending" tab. Than click on "preferences" bottom left menu. At the bottom of this you will see the following below. I believe if you change this to reset immediately this should give you what you are looking for. I know it works like that for email, not sure on the fax have not tested it. Best you can do is try it and see.

Auto Settings ResetAfter a Digital Sending operation is complete. Immediately reset the device to the default settings. Delay before resetting the device to the default settings.Number of Seconds (10-300) to delay:

Oops..spoke too soon. That works, but I have on 4345 that has a different web interface page that doesn't have that tab.. it just has two tabs, home and network. it also has a green skin to it instead of blue. They both have the same imbedded jet direct model and firmware. The machines have the same firmware, but the web interfaces are different. How do I correct this? Is there a way to upgrade the web interface?

The only thing I have found that fixes this is a DISK INIT. Let me know if you don't know how to do this. Or if you find something else that fixes it

I tried the disk init and nothing, still the same EWS screen with just two tabs and green skin. I can't figure this out. I also updated all the firmware to no avail.

Maybe a cold reset with a disk init at same time. I have seen a cold reset work and than sometimes not work. Also have seen a disk init work and sometime not work. Most instances I have ran into with this has been resolved with a disk init.

I would try to do a CR and disk init at same time. Ya firmware upgrade has never worked for me with this issue.
