Hello all
I have an issue with a few cm6040s which produce garbled print randomly. The fault usually appears during a job not at the beginning and once started will produce the remainder of the document incorrectly. Switch off/on fixes it maybe for a short time , maybe a month. a colleague has changed many items in an attempt to resolve this but it has reappeared.
HP are aware of the problem but a Channel Services post declares that there is no workaround at present.
The fault is on at least 4 machines at two different organisations, so isn't one customers particular software/hardware combination and can fault on pdf/word excel etc. Servers are running different Windows versions and all drivers and firmware have been updated. Formatter,dc controller and memory have been changed on one machine with no fix.
Has anyone come across this problem?
Thanks
Bill
