It does this on at least 1 out of every 3 pages. These samples are the config page printed from the internal memory, so drivers not an issue. The samples are supposed to be b&w.

Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
I did not think of the ribbon, why would you thnk it is the problem? After talking to a different person today, I was told that it was sent 5 prints to do, and after the third one it started this and is on every print now.

It is high failure part.
The ribbon is always flexing causing the failure rate.
I may be wrong but I think this is a paralle connection, so if a trace is broken than the transmision is screwed up.
This could produce what you are seeing.
