I have a HP 4555MFP that keeps getting the error code 49.23.cb. Did cold reset, nvram int, changed formatter, memory dimm, flashed firmware..............Any other suggestions?

Seems to me I've seen other posts in this thread that said some of the 49 series error codes are caused by bad print jobs, or if the machine is networked it could be some network traffic that the machine doesn't understand. You might try searching the thread for your error, or I think I was searching for a solution for a sleep mode lock up problem when I came across that information, so you might to search for instances of the word "sleep" too and see if that works.
If that doesn't work, sorry for wasting your time. -

3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

It has been my experience that the cause for this error code is almost always exactly identical to any other HP machine that can generate the code. So you will probably find valuable information in the link "blackcat4866" provided above, even though it was for a different model number. Or you might search through this forum like I did, there is a lot of really helpful information about this that is already posted here.Comment
