    [Dead] Hp laserjet m5035mfp Printer

    Hi
    Am having problem with my Hp Laserjet M5035mfp Printer.Its photocoping faint pages but if i print from
    a computor the print is ok.I have put in a new cartridge but still doing the same.I changed the toner density but still the same.Is there someone who once solved this problem?Please help i have a lot of things to photocopy/

      The problem resides in the document scanning unit. Check that, and let us know what you find.

        Thanks for your responce.Wich Document Scaning unit are you refering to my dear?Because this printer have four Laser Scaners so are you refering to rhese ones? I have taken all the four Laser scaners out and cleaned they but still doing the same.This Hp colour Laserjet 5550 have given me problems with colour mixing infact Magenta and Cyan are not even there on the Suplies page though the percentage is there.Please help

          OK, looks like we have a different take on technical terms, my fault for not being clearer, sorry about that. I'm still learning these things.
          I was trying to refer to the part of the machine that you put the original documents in that you wish to be copied, not the laser scanning units.
          Sorry for being inaccurate.

            If it is copying light, there is a problem with the flatbed scanner.
            If it is printing light and copying light, it can be transfer related or laser scanner related as you have already checked.

            If you are missing colors when printing and copying, it is an entirely different problem. Please be more specific.
