    HP C4005,Quality

HI, Black prinks are excellent,Color prints are coming out offset ,looks like you have 3 images slightly offset from each other. On test print where bands of different colors are printed(8 one inch bands)the top 4 bands while sharp in color and the correct color, are about a 1/8 inch outside of line bounderies .the bottom 4 are within their correct borders.I have replaced all 4 colors, and fuser, and transport unit to eliminate the basics.Any help greatly appreciated THANKS ANDY.PS .this is a CP4005.

Can you post a picture or scan? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Doc1.docDoc2.docDoc3.doc

Hi David.... I don't know if I did this right but tried to attach scans of 3 pages. Doc1 is a Test Page with the Problem Machine, Doc2 is a Test Page from a Good Working Machine, Doc 3 is the end result from printing in color on problem machine.
When I first tried to upload scan it showed invalid and unable to upload. Then I scanned into Microsoft Word . It uploaded then but don't know if I followed thru properly. Andy and I work together at times and he previously worked for me for 28 years. Neither one of us is knowledgeable about connectivity and scanning to various destinations etc. I could learn a lot from customers . Please advise if unable to view these scans. I can always email to you as I testeds that to myself and it worked fine. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

Good images. Clearly cyan is being written late by the laser. The other colors seem to register properly.

I think I'd look at the way the cyan toner cartridge mates with the machine: rails, alignment posts ... whatever.
Next I'd look for is a color registration auto adjustment. If that failed, I'd take a closer look at the cyan part of the laser unit. Perhaps there is a mirror out of place or loose?

Sorry, I don't have a manual for this model or I'd look further. =^..^=
