    HP clj 2600n

    I have a problem with a color laser printer HP2600

    After printing about 10 to 15 perfect color pages (some times after 3)
    but generaly first pages that came out are perfect
    it start to print only with black cartridge - no traces of CMY

    Printers demo, status and supplies pages are ok

    Optics are cleaned and firmware upgraded
    Cartridges are original

    Any idea???

          I'm not sure but I think there is a menu setting to print in black and white only. Some menu pages will still print in color, but others only black and white when this is enabled. Use the sm to find where it is in the menu and make sure it is disabled.
          Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

              Remove and install new drivers it sounds like the one you have is corrupt.
              With the new drivers go in and check all the default settings and set them to the customers liking!

                  But it seems that it was something else

                  That printer has separate solenoids for drive black developing cyl. and for driving cmy dev. cyl.
                  and one for cmy was sticky

                  At least I didnt have a complain - for now

                      Before they send a print job to the printer they have the option of just printing in black and white or color. It is a setting in the print driver printing preferences.
