[CQ] HP p4015 almost solid black

I have a p4015 that prints the top of the page with a lot of black background for about the first 3 inches and the remainder of the page print goes solid black. Replacing the toner cartridge with a genuine HP has no effect. Any ideas? HVPS? Formatter?

Look at your toner cartridge grounds. The look like to paper clips; Did you have the power supply out? You can pull those out of their socket (They snap on) and have to line up with the Powersupply pwb.
    Also they break.

The grounds appear to be okay, spring tension is normal. The hv power supply hasn't been touched.

Indeed, it was the HVPS. Thanks!
