    HP 4250dtn error

Getting error "processing job" displayed. Checked all printers on network and cannot find any jobs pending. Cancelled job on printer. Any suggestion?

How do you connected to the printer (by network or usb cable)....try to change your connection,to isolate the problem..

You can remove the optional network card, and use Usb cable for testing....

If it has an external jet direct card, take it out and reboot printer. did that cure it? Then your card is bad. Also if it is an embedded jet direct, meaning you cant loosen two screws and remove then you need to take other steps. Note this will erase your ip address in the printer. Perform a cold reset. You will not be able to update firmware if your printer is in error.

The 4250 and 4350 with the embedded jetdirect will still accept the standard jetdirect cards. Its a cheaper solution than changing the formatter. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
