    [CQ] 4730 copy quality issue

    I'm have a 4730 printer that when printing to it the prints comes out fine, but when making copies on the glass or the ADF the copies comes out with a magenta over lay on it. I have replaced the toner and the transfer belt, calibrated the scanner. do I need to order the scanner or can I flash the firmware? any help will be appreciated.

    There's not too much information on this regarding the scanner Copy Quality. Calibrate as you did. Try calibrating couple of more times
    Make sure the white reference Plate is clean. I would even change the mylar, but what does that have to do with on the glass copies.
    If it was coming out of my pocket I would open up that scanner and clean and tweak some shit, pricey little whore I bet or you will have to replace the scanner.

      Ive been looking at this guy and it has mirrors before the ccd, so hey i would clean those first
