    HP CLJ 9500 Finisher issue

This machine randomly delivers printed and copied sets into the top tray in reverse order (face up) doesn't jam. Seen this?

Without thinking too deeply on this, my first impression would be that you've got an inverter gate that is sticking, maybe because it has one of those offensive sound damping pads that get sticky with age. Or the pad may be on the solenoid that operates the gate.

And it doesn't surprise me that that the machine does not detect a jam. HP's have notoriously loose jam detection. A slow pickup jam often gets completely past the fuser before the machine stops. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
