HP Designjet 2300 hangs up when initializing

    HP Designjet 2300 hangs up when initializing

    It gets to about 90% and then stops, and just stays there. My first thought is formatter. Is there anything else I should check before that?

      This problem was the control panel. Now I'm trying to find one, and, apparently, HP doesn't make them.

          I'm trying to find out more info on the control panel for you. parts here dot com claims to have them.. they're $400. CN727-67019

              The new part number is CN727-67041. $383 from HP
