    [Dead] HP lasrjet 425dn with no display

    I have an HP laserjet 425dn that has a blank LCD display but has all icons around the display lit. Formatter board??

      Do you have any 'heart beats' led status blinking on the back of the printer? if no, formatter defective. Yo can check the condition of DC controller pressing the switch for internal test page.

          solid state drive/memory and new firmware fixed mine

              Replacing formatter board fixed this.
