That error indicates that the wrong part or used part is been used on the printer.
That is to protect the printer of further damage.

You are probably using a used part, the wrong part or a damage part

Try installing a new Formatter and HDD. Make sure you are using the correct parts.

Were the parts new from HP? Or new to you? From the service manual:

NOTE: If you try to insert a previously used hard disk drive, the product displays a System Error and will not start successfully.
      and
NOTE: For Revision B printers the Formatter and Hard Disk are replaced as a single part.
So you may have a good formatter but if it's a used drive, you'll need to get a new-new one from HP. And if it's a Rev B printer, you have to replace both together.

I'll see what other info I can get from HP on Monday.

This is all assuming you got a used drive/formatter; HP confirmed you can not use a used drive (or formatter w/drive) in another printer. You also run the risk of losing the model ID, which can render the printer useless. This can not be fixed.

So let us know what parts you used.

It would also be helpful to back up to why you replaced the formatter or drive; what errors/lights were you getting. If you still have the old one, put it back in and document the errors and lights.
