FS-2035D, UFR just split in two pieces. Seems that the thermoswitch somehow catched the UFR

Hans
seen it all too often... Brother / HP / Samsucks ... they all do it after a while... doesn't help when the customer runs LTR manila envelopes W/ the metal clasps .... and then LIES about not doing it ( I found part of the tab causing jams in the 3RD fuser installed in 4 months. )
Very common on the Sharp facsimilie (the rollers are just too thin to survive the torque), and some of the Katun substitutes for Canon analog rollers (they were made of some kind of ceramic, and were known to shatter, usually breaking the heat lamps in the process). The Toshiba fuser rollers are so thin that very minor mishandling will dent them (I investigate any squashed boxes before I sign off on them).
It's the price we pay for quick warmup times. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Got called out on a jamming problem the morning after one of our other techs had done a complete PM. Got there to find that a stripper pawl had embedded itself into the new hot roller.
