    Need advice on Servicing a Lexmark

    Hello all,
    I have a Lexmark X748de and it is spitting out color copies with many colored streaks, please see the attachment.
    What is the problem and how do I fix it?

      It looks like primary transfer belt cleaning to me, since all the colors seem to be affected and through the right and left margins. It should be really easy to tell though. Look at the transfer belt. I've seen the transfer belt waste reservoir overfill. I emptied it out, but it still didn't clean properly. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          yes that looks like an itb cleaning failure alright!! i would be replacing that unit. very easy to replace.
