XM -3150 media sensor fix

We have started placing Lexmark XM 3150 last month in the field and customers have broken three media sensor flags out of 8 we have placed. Is there a upgrade for media sensor or quick fix . We had to pick them up and repair in office . Thanks for replies.

Are you talking about this part 40X8800 ?

I spoke to Lexmark about this as i've replaced dozens there is no modified part.

It happens when the customer pulls the tray in/out too quickly after a jam or when adding paper.

You can replace it on site, tip the machine on it's back 10 minute job.
