    Bad flatbed ?
    Thanks,

    Just to be clear:

    1. Can you print from a PC? (Try printing from your laptop)

    2. When you make a copy from the glass, does the mirror move and return to home position?

It's odd that it doesn't throw up an error code and it just says "scanning" on the display. Sounds like a board problem.

Start with finding a manual and go from there unless someone here isn't having this problem.

Did you print the error log? Codes can be recorded that never show on the display. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Hi deputydogg,

There is a Lexmark service bulletin in their support website, please refer to the Document ID:TE676

basically try the following and see how you go:
              1. Backup all their settings first
              2. Perform NVRAM reset
              3. Go Configuration menu > Factory reset > Restore base
              4. Go Configuration menu again > Wipe all settings
              5. Go Configuration menu again > Format fax storage
              6. Go Configuration menu again > Disable LES applications

If there is HDD install on the device, you might want to Erase all information on disk option in Config menu...again..

              hope all these help.
